CTE champions in Karatedo Tournament

The College of Teacher Education (CTE) harvested 9 gold medals in the Karatedo Tournament.m

 

Winning gold medals for CTE were Angelito Davis, Taison Tapan, Johenes Montealegre for the Men’s team kata category. Curvin Castro with Davis and Tapan suited up for team kumite division.

 

Davis bagged the gold in the pin weight category and individual kata division.

 

Curvin Castro and Ker Jay Rodriguez brought home golds in the featherweight and lightweight division respectively.

 

CTE’s Mary Jermaine Estrada, Ma. Marthy Fat and Erra Mae Villaflor hauled gold medals in the Women’s Division.

 

CTE added six silver and three bronze medals to grab the over-all championship.

 

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) dominated the Women’s Division. Engelqueen Damayo, Diana Queen Cabellon and Patricia Ann Dorog for the Women’s team kata and team kumite division.

 

Cabellon and Damayo clinched the gold and silver medals in the individual kata.

 

Christine Barliso and Patricia Ann Dorog of CAS brought home the gold in bantamweight and featherweight division.
