         College of Arts and Sciences uphold its championship title for fifteen years against other colleges last September 18,2015.

 

         Silence roared and CAS students were surprised when Mr. Abel Diaz announced the College of Teacher Education (CTE) as the overall champion in the intramurals. CTE gone wild upon hearing the announcement. That's when a MAPEH  major student approached Mr.Diaz to clarify that CTE is the winner in the Cultural category only.

 

         Upon hearing this, CAS students exclaimed in joy and thanked that CAS will remain undefeated for 15 years. They garnered 76 gold medals, 47 silver and 34 bronze. Dr.Jiolito Benitez , CAS dean proudly grabbed the championship trophy as CAS students gathered in the basketball court and celebrated their success.

 

Next in the running is CTE with 62 gold,72 silver and 40 bronze, followed by the CNU

-Medellin with 31 gold,32 silver,42 bronze. The College of Nursing (CN) held 8 gold,

2 silver,17 bronze and lastly CNU-Balamban with 7 gold,25 silver and 41 bronze

medals.

 

 "Hinaot dili matandog og mawagtang ang atong pagkahiusa sa pag atubang sa

mga umaabot" said Sweeney Rey Llera, CLASS (College Liberals of Arts and

Sciences) Governor.

 

Just like others journey to success, they have been through hard times. CAS faced

problem on the budget.

 

        "Proper allocation jud, if pwede maka save , itry jud namo" said Jensen Floren CLASS member, Committee on Grievance, when asked regarding solutions on the lack of budget.

 

         According to Llera ,paying the Intramurals Fee is a big help. Also, Mr. Benitez, on his side, gave a hand in the preparation.

 

         All the hardworks and sacrifices are well paid off after owning the championship title. Fifteen years is a long journey and its a legacy for the liberals to continue.
